I’m Back!

I’m back and wanted to let you know I had a great time in Spain.  The trip was pretty hectic at times, but we did have some free days when we were able to do things on our own.

Among other things, we visited many cathedrals and palaces and went to an olive farm where we had a tasting.

Now I am gearing up for the Epilepsy Walk tomorrow.  I can’t believe it is already here!  It will be a fun event, getting together with friends, walking for epilepsy awareness.

On Vacation

I want to let you all know that I will be on vacation from tomorrow until April 19th.  My family and I are going to Spain with a tour group.  We will visit Barcelona, Madrid, and Sevilla.

I will be back after I return and my jet lag wears off.

¡Hasta luego!

Young Epilepsy Awards—United Kingdom

I came across a blog post by Emily Donoghue about the Young Epilepsy Awards of 2015 based in the United Kingdom.

On March 26 (Purple Day), Young Epilepsy, the official organization dedicated to helping children with epilepsy in the UK, gave its 3rd annual Champions Awards.

The event celebrated the achievements of several young people and the people who have influenced them to promote epilepsy awareness.  British journalist and newsreader Nicholas Owen hosted the event.  Many celebrities were also present: Olympian James Cracknell, actors Cheryl Fergison and Himesh Patel, athlete Dai Greene, and footballer (soccer player) Leon Legge.

You can read more about it on Emily’s blog
