Young Epilepsy Awards—United Kingdom

I came across a blog post by Emily Donoghue about the Young Epilepsy Awards of 2015 based in the United Kingdom.

On March 26 (Purple Day), Young Epilepsy, the official organization dedicated to helping children with epilepsy in the UK, gave its 3^rd annual Champions Awards.

The event celebrated the achievements of several young people and the people who have influenced them to promote epilepsy awareness.  British journalist and newsreader Nicholas Owen hosted the event.  Many celebrities were also present: Olympian James Cracknell, actors Cheryl Fergison and Himesh Patel, athlete Dai Greene, and footballer (soccer player) Leon Legge.
