The Epilepsy Therapy Project is soliciting entries for its upcoming Shark Tank Competition, to promote innovative ideas to help people with epilepsy and seizures. The winner(s) will win as much as $200,000 and international recognition for their idea(s).
Examples
of ideas to submit include:

new
treatments for seizures,
·
devices
that prevent personal injury,
·
drug
or device that stops seizures once they’ve started,
·
any
other innovative idea to help people with epilepsy.
All
entrants need to submit a Letter of Intent outlining their proposals. The deadline is November 13, 2015, 11:59 pm,
Eastern Time. Details on what is
required in the Letter of Intent are on the Epilepsy Foundation website.
A
panel of judges (Sharks) consisting of doctors and scientists, business people,
people with epilepsy and advocates will evaluate the proposals. At the 2016 Epilepsy Pipeline Conference on
February 25-26, the conference attendees will conduct a final vote among the
finalists’ proposals and the winner(s) will be announced.
