This
Friday, March 8, 2019, the Epilepsy Support Network of Orange County will hold
its monthly support group meeting. This month’s theme is “March Medication
Madness!” There will be two separate presentations: one for parents of young
children and one for adults. The speaker
for the parents will be Dr. Grace Lee, pharmacist at Children’s Hospital of
Orange County (CHOC) and the speaker for the adults will be Dr. James Park,
epileptologist at HOAG Hospital.

types of medications work well for which seizures (and vice versa)?

When
starting a new medication, what questions should you ask?
Do
you have to take medications forever?
The
program will start at 7:00 Pacific Time. There is a social hour for adults
starting at 6:00 pm. An Epilepsy 101 class and Emotional Support Group for
Parents also take place at the same time. Teens and kids have fun activities
scheduled in relation to “March Madness.”
The
meeting is located at CHOC Children’s Hospital, Harold Wade Education Center,
Bldg 2, 2nd Floor, 1201 W. La Veta Ave., Orange, CA 92868. Parking
is $2.00 with validation.
