Hello
everyone!
I
am participating in the annual Epilepsy Walk of the Epilepsy Support Network of Orange County (ESNOC) in California. It
will take place in Costa Mesa, California, on Saturday, April 25, 2015.
I
have a team called the “Sonic Seizure Stoppers” and am excited to walk for
epilepsy awareness and raise money to provide free access to programs and
services to people with epilepsy, such as educational seminars and emotional
support groups.
It
is especially meaningful to me this year since my seizures have been very
challenging and I am trying some new treatments. You can read about my experience with the VNS
(vagus nerve stimulator) implant in my previous posts. The Epilepsy Support Network is always there
to talk to and provide information.
If
you would like to donate or participate as a walker, either physically or
online (as a “virtual” walker), feel free to click here. Also, the link is available if you click on
the picture on the right that says “Unseize the Day!” This is the theme of the Walk.
I
appreciate your support and readership of this blog. Please let me know if there is anything you
want me to discuss.
